An Enumeration of Spirits

This post is likely a series of mad ramblings that is of no use to anyone.

What follows is a collection of notes I have taken over the last few days and weeks as thoughts occurred to me. Having spent years now talking to and being a voice for spirits, some of this is based on personal experience. Other parts can only be said to have been revealed or given to me, either during an Awakening, within a ritual or visionary experience, imparted instantaneously as a gift from an entity, or otherwise communicated in some mystical fashion. The rest is speculation and conjecture, filling in the gaps as best I can, with my own understanding along with what others have said or written. It is in no way an exhaustingly comprehensive list of all spirits.

What is true, however, is that this particular post has been nagging me to be created. Demanding to be released into the world. Begging for existence.

And so, I place these thoughts here. I cannot tell where the Human ends and the Light begins, so it is best to just consider this my own babbling rather than any sort of Divine message.

A Matter of Perspective

One must accept that we have multiple tiers or levels of consciousness. As such, there are multiple tiers of what we can consider truth.

Part of us exists within the world apparent to our senses. This is Creation, or Time, and is the world in which we are all familiar. Where we play out our lives.

Simultaneously, another part exists in the timeless world of Eternity. This is the realm of Gods and Spirits. Some cosmologies further divide up this world. The Enochian Aethyrs split it into 30 parts. The Kabbalah into 9 (plus Creation / The Kingdom / Malkuth to make 10). Some traditions speak of the Etheric Plane, Astral Plane, Elemental Planes, and then the Abyss which divides the highest parts from the lowest. Others only place the Aevum between Eternity and Creation, a half-way point of everlasting time where spirits are presumed to dwell.

Things that seem true in one of these worlds can look paradoxical, inverted, or otherwise wrong in the other. Further, this can be amplified if your perspective is of one looking from Creation to Eternity, or Eternity to Creation. As just one example: from here, Eternity seems like it is the “Underworld“, the place of the Dead, where one arrives after they pass on. From Eternity, Creation seems to be the Underworld. Everything in Eternity has everlasting life, and it is only here in Creation where death exists and we play out existence as shadows of our True Selves.

These Divine Mysteries are encountered as we approach successive Awakenings, but we shouldn’t think of them as a puzzle to be deciphered. When we cross the Horizon of Enlightenment at each stage, we resolve this apparent conflict of perspective. However, it does not remove the idea that these things seem to be contradictory. Instead, it solves contradictions themselves as being a problem. One becomes “ok” with the idea that from one view things seem to be a certain way, and a different way from another. The question of this being a conflict no longer arises.

As we have our Awakenings, moving through the stages of Enlightenment, these worlds mix together. We can say we move up into Eternity and bring more of it back down into Creation with us. We are changed, and Creation is changed, as a result. Likewise, Eternity is changed by the memory of the experience of it becoming a permanent fixture. We’ve done the impossible: Changed the unchangeable. Grown the ungrowable.

And as this happens, our conscious awareness changes as well. It grows. We gain further perspective. In some cases, especially in the very first Awakening, we may even feel as if we physically have become larger or as if the world has shrunk.

So, if we are going to talk about spirits, we first have to know from what perspective we are speaking. The things I am going to discuss are, to my understanding, correct from a specific perspective. That being my own awareness as a Human Being, where discarnate entities seem to be separate beings from myself.

At some levels this is not true, everything is a part of what can be said to be “the self”. Nondualism sees no separation, everything is contained within one’s own consciousness.

However, this is not our daily awareness. We are dualist beings, capable of understanding and experiencing a unified consciousness, but with the lived experience of being an individual surrounded by other individuals. And it is from here we will proceed.

Who and What You Are

You are the Divine.

At the highest level at which anything could be said to be an identity, you are the God Aion.

Aion can be described as the God who is a Multiplicity of Gods.

We can think of this as Stars in the Night Sky.

The Divine splits such that it can have perspective within itself. Each Star is a locus of consciousness, each one the exact same unique consciousness, but each as its own “point of view”, and consequently its own contained identity. Each one sees the infinite reflections of itself as all the others. We can consider the Star itself as a “God” and the “Space between the Stars” where they are reflected as the Goddess. Alternatively, we can say that what the Star illuminates is “conscious awareness” and what it apparently does not is the “unconscious”.

As the Star looks upon its own reflection the surface reflecting it seems to flicker and move, dance and ripple. This apparent motion causes the Star to “fall asleep”, where it dreams that the thing it is viewing, that is, the perspective of a Human Being, is its very own self. As it sleeps, it cloaks itself in a garment which it takes to only be the person it seems to be inhabiting, but is in fact the entire universe which surrounds it. The various Elements collide together to create a full Cosmos.

This dream of being a person is the life which we all experience. You are no different than any God you have ever heard of other than you are currently incarnate, and they are not (or may not be, who can say). If any God incarnates as a person it is just as human as anyone else.

Within this experience, the apparent world around us manifests out of the uncontrolled darkness of our unconscious, based on our awareness and understanding of who and what we are. The part of us here is “asleep” in that it forgets where it came from and what it is, and is only aware of what its Human senses tell it. Our apparent motion through the ripples on the reflected surface showing ourselves is our conscious experience of the March of Time.

As such, we can see that it is Us that creates the apparent animation of the world around us. The trees swaying in the wind, the waves crashing on the shore, the decision to take a walk around the block. In one sense, we can consider our “asleep” consciousness as being carried by the Star through the body of the Goddess. Some traditions speak of the Holy Guardian Angel as the one carrying us. This is the expression of our true-highest-self-as-Aion, our own Divine connection to the very top of Eternity, the Crown which sits upon our Star.

As we are asleep and dreaming of being Human, it is possible for us to be confused, mistaken, or deceived. We can gain an improper understanding of ourselves and the way that the world works, and around us the world will manifest to play out this misunderstanding. Power is given away to forces that are detrimental to us. A script is provided and the story acted with perfection. We can gain this power back, as will be discussed later, but the important part here is, again, that it is US (on some specific level) which is causing all the apparent motion around us.

Usually these sorts of Shadows of a part of our True Nature, something which should work one way but instead acts out of turn, are accidents. However, as we are the animating force, we can purposely seem to cause the world to dance around us in interesting ways.

Puppets and Masks: Servitors

Magicians have long felt they had the ability to create spirits out of nothing.

Draw the correct sigil, give it the correct name, meditate until it seems real. There are many methods for such a practice. What the Magician is generally doing is defining a set and configuration of characteristics with which they wish to interact.

Characteristics, generally, only exist within Human consciousness. [There are many different philosophical and scientific arguments regarding this sort of thought, but for the purposes of this article this is the perspective we are using.] They are not inherent properties of an external world. We want to categorize and quantify things.

A tree’s bark is not “rough”, “roughness” is a symbolic representation of the sensation a human experiences when touching it. There are not two apples growing on the tree, there is one apple in one place and another in another place. “Two” is a symbol we’re using as a way to group separate things together. “Apples” themselves are not even a “real” thing, there are two completely separate objects which we’ve given a category based on apparent similarities. The apples themselves are not even a singular object, they’re a collection of much smaller objects. Cells are made of molecules are made of atoms, and so on. The atoms themselves contain no “apple” qualities, those are only extant in the apparent configuration of characteristics.

So the Magician creates this configuration of characteristics and calls it a spirit or entity and acts as if it has its own external existence. The degree to which they can do so consciously depends on their Magical ability as well as their degree of Divine realization. Unconsciously, all restrictions are off.

For this type of being I will use the popular Chaos Magic term “Servitor“.

There are two ways I’d like to look at such an entity:

One could say that, because these characteristics exist within your consciousness and you are the animating force, that you’re “sectioning off” a part of yourself, your consciousness, and interacting with it as if it were not you. You see apparent manifestations of its existence, a thought in your head, an object moving, an event coming to pass, and you ascribe those appearances to the being you’ve created.

This is not to say that it is “incorrect” to treat this being as its own entity and not a part of yourself, just that you are the one causing the movement. It is no different than putting a puppet on your hand and having a conversation with it, or having it move an object around. How many actors have been corrected for talking to Kermit the Frog instead of Jim Henson?

Another perspective on this is that by creating the set of characteristics and interacting with them as if they were real and external to yourself, the appropriate “Divine Bureaucrat” assigns a spiritual entity that displays those characteristics to interact with you, wearing the “personality” you’ve given the Servitor as a mask.

Again, this is not to say you’re “incorrect” to call this interacting with the Servitor. You’re not being tricked by some other spirit intending to deceive you. For all intents and purposes, that is what this Servitor IS.

Both of these perspectives are saying the same thing, just from alternate points of view.

Egregores

Grander in scale from the Servitor is an Egregore.

We can think of an Egregore in the same fashion as a Servitor, however rather than a single Magician being aware of its existence, it is part of the shared consensus reality of many people.

Because of this we can say that just about anything is an Egregore.

The ghost that everyone knows “lives” in the old Haunted House is one, as is the idea of any specific cryptid, any organization or corporation (the Egregore of McDonalds), any country (The United States is historically personified as the Angel Columbia), or concept (Money, Justice).

We can even go as far as to say an individual person’s identity, the identity of any spirit, or even the identity of any God is one.

I’d like us to consider an Egregore as the “Mask of Identity”. It includes not only personality and apparent characteristics, but the nature of the way the world changes due to its existence. It is a role being played out in a play, but not only the individual character, also the doings and happenings of and around that character.

But if it is a mask, what is behind that mask?

At one level, it is always The Divine with which we are interacting. We have a choice in how this happens, what face it presents back to us. But on another we can treat any and all of these things as if they were their own conscious beings.

For some, the Egregore is closely tied with the Nature of what is behind it. You could say the Egregore is a subdivided part of it. Those things have an inherent “Life” to them which is unconditional, and which cannot be copied. You can say that their True Nature exists within Eternity, and thus is not subject to human classification beyond the appearances they manifest.

A human being has a consensus existence that lives within its own mind, but also the minds of every single person they’ve ever met. Another human can “put on” this Egregore by mimicking that person, through behavior and tone of voice, changing their physicality, identity theft for monetary gain, writing or speaking styles, etc. However, they never fully get to the absolute Nature of what is behind that person, they can only “put on” small parts of it at a time.

Likewise, a God is always the God that it is. Other spirits (or Humans) can pretend to be that God (often poorly), but they don’t have the full Nature of what it is, otherwise they would be it. There are spirits which are lesser in Nature but are similar in fashion that we will discuss later.

Other Egregores lack this Nature of Substance behind them. We can say that they are creations of this world, Time, and are no more than shadows dancing on the wall as fire light flickers behind us.

It is possible to interact with these things conceptually or directly. You interact with the Egregore of Money every time you exchange cash for goods, check your bank account, or play a slot machine. You could even construct a sigil or seal for it, plan out a ritual, and have a chat with it if you so wanted. Even fictional characters can be called up and given tasks to complete. But then, what are you talking to?

It depends!

The specifics of what you’re doing and the individual circumstances surrounding it are never the same. In some cases, it is no different than a Servitor, and you are animating it yourself or speaking to an appropriate spirit that reflects its nature. In others, depending on the scale of the Egregore, an appropriately “sized” spirit can take up either part or the whole of the mask and wear it to interact with you.

However, none of this is hidden. It just need be examined on a case to case basis. Did you call out to something specific? A generic invitation to anything around? Did you just happen upon something without performing any magic? Every detail is important in knowing what you are interacting with.

Near-Earth Spirits

Mythology is full of stories of spiritual beings that seem to dwell on or near the Earth. Folklore talks of elves and dwarves, fairies and leprechauns, aliens and goblins. So what are these creatures? Are they real?

Much of the lore regarding such entities speaks of them as though they are independent intelligences, the Genius or Genii of Classical thought (not to be confused with a Genie or Djinn). They are said to occupy a sort of “Otherworld“, not quite the normal Earth we are familiar with, and not quite Eternity. Not unlike humans, they have different sorts of personalities, some said to be helpful and others tricksters. A few are even called dangerous.

In one fashion, these beings are the introduction to the Mystery, the path which leads upward. Encountering them causes one to question and examine what they thought to be absolute reality. Synchronicities happen around them, and they seem to have powers which allow them to manipulate the world in a similar fashion to an incarnate creature. Some can even appear physically.

Attempting to count and classify all of these would be a fruitless and maddening endeavor. There are a near infinite supply of spirits in what we could call the “Lower Astral Planes” or “Near to Earth”. Instead, we will examine a select few types and specific incidents.

Elementals

An Elemental is an entity which we could say is composed mainly of a single one of the elements, as opposed to a Human which is created from all 4 (or 5, as some traditions include undivided “Spirit” as an element).

A gingerbread man lives in a gingerbread house, is the house made of him or is he made of house? The material of his world is simply “gingerbread” in the same way the material of our world is “matter”, and the material of the Elemental Planes is each of their respective elements.

Paracelsus named them as “Gnomes” for beings of Earth, “Undines” for those of Water, “Sylphs” for Air, and “Salamanders” for fire.

These creatures either reside on the Elemental Plane of which they are made, or they simultaneously exist there and are incarnate in some form in Creation in the same sort of fashion that we are simultaneously incarnate in Creation and alive in Eternity.

In this incarnation, they are literally the spirits of the world around you. The very landscape upon which you trod. These beings are the True Nature of the materials with which you interact. As such, they have some measure of control over these things. As part of consciousness, they can also place words, ideas, and visions into one’s mind.

It is my opinion that these beings are the forces behind many cryptid encounters.

Take, for example, the Nordic folkloric figure of the Troll. A strange creature that lives among the rocks, or in mountain caves. Likely a Christianization of the jötunn, or giants, of Norse and Germanic Mythology. Stories surrounding these involve someone entering the wild alone and encountering this strange being far from civilization. They are old and strong, but slow and unintelligent, and organize in small communities. In some cases they are the mountains themselves.

We could easily see an Elemental of the Earth being responsible for this. There exists within the cultural memory the idea of a Troll and a Giant, and there also exists the memory of entering the wilds and encountering close-but-not-quite-human creatures. Apes and Monkeys, but also our now-gone relatives such as Neanderthals and Denisovans. These were as much of people as we are, and we even intermixed with them and still carry their DNA, but meeting the “Other” outside of your protected area was an experience many early people had.

A Human wanders out into the forest, away from his home and friends. Night falls as he journeys, and the spirit of the land itself takes notice and wishes to interact with him. Maybe to scare him away for its own isolation, maybe because it is lonely and wishes to chat. The Genius Loci, or spirit of a place, is its own Egregore, but not necessarily one conducive to conversing with a person who has no visionary talent. Instead, the Elemental present here adopts the Egregore that is the mashup of the cultural memories of meeting the “other” in the woods. A symbolic language the Human will understand inherently.

The Elemental taking on this Egregore as a Mask, the person now finds themselves face to face with a Troll. Strange noises come out of the woods, the sound of something that can’t be seen moving, a terrible odor of decaying plants and earth wafts up, something knocks against a tree, huge footprints are discovered, rocks are thrown from an obfuscated source, the ground trembles as though a monster is passing by. The person locates something hidden in the shadows, and to their surprise finds they can talk to it. Maybe they run in fear, or maybe hours pass discussing riddles. Perhaps it directs them home, or into a crevasse. However, eventually the sun comes up, and reveals the person to have literally been talking to a pile of rocks.

All of these are within the abilities of such a creature. And the Human is not mistaken, the Elemental is the rocks.

The Americanized version of this is Bigfoot. Same encroaching of a Human into the wild, or even the wild into Civilization. Same strange sounds in the woods, same large footprints, same horrible smells. However, the light reveals not rocks, but evidence of a bear or other animals.

It is good to keep in mind that these Egregores are not static. The grow and change over time, just the way people do. A Troll today is not what people considered one to be 1000 years ago. They share similarities, but we’ve added and removed qualities from what they originally were.

I believe Elementals are also responsible for many “High Activity” ghost-encounters, especially ones tied to a specific location.

A Human, through consciously or unconsciously animating a Servitor or Egregore, can cause some ghost-like manifested phenomena. Temperatures changing, small synchronistic knocks, a gust of wind, objects moving, or electronics to activate. However, again depending on the magical skill and level of realization of the individuals involved, this activity is generally mild.

On the other hand, an Elemental is quite capable of doing such things. Do not call one into your home unless you want all your pipes burst, shingles blown off, cracked foundations, or the fuses to blow. These beings are working with forces from the natural world, and they need energy physically present within that system to do so, and so do not be surprised to see fresh batteries completely drained or lights flickering.

An excellent example of this sort of thing can be seen on a livestream from Greg and Dana Newkirk’s Newkirk Museum of the Paranormal. They once ventured into Western Pennsylvania, to examine the site of an urban legend known as Green Man’s Tunnel. I believe an Elemental of Air perfectly explains the experiences they had here.

Green Man, or Charlie No-Face, was a real man named Raymond Robinson who was injured as a child in an electrical accident and had a resultant facial deformity. By most accounts a kind fellow, he was a regular site walking along the road at night, where he’d occasionally stop to have a smoke with a neighbor or two. After his passing, the ghost story grew to include that his skin glowed green and that his spirit was regularly seen near a tunnel he occasionally passed in life.

With disappointingly little writings about his actual life, Greg and Dana (along with Tyler Strand) only really had the option to interact with the Egregore of his legend. They arrive at the location and approach the tunnel, equipped with radios to perform an Estes session, recording devices to capture EVPs, infrared cameras, and similar accoutrements. The tunnel itself is also the subject of the investigation.

A tunnel is a very specific location, and as such we can expect the human mind to categorize it separately from the area surrounding it. Thus, since we’ve mentally demarcated it, we can consider there to be a spirit of it. And being a sort of negative-space, a hole, a created, isolated pocket of air within the earth, it would be logical to consider that the being dwelling within, the being that is the tunnel, to be an Elemental of Air.

Arriving with an Egregore already in mind, and specifically taking actions to try to make contact with it, the present Elemental had a primed mask ready to be put on to interact.

The EVPs they got were LOUD, some nearly screaming. Much louder than those produced on a typical “ghost hunt” sort of endeavor. Multiple times they hear what sounds like someone walking down the tunnel, to the point it scared them and they had to temporarily retreat. Disembodied voices and odd sounds echoed through it. The infrared camera showed silhouettes of people in the tunnel, though never clear enough to make out. Notably, right before the activity picked up, a train passed overhead causing a shower of electrical energy into the surrounding area.

As they proceeded with the Estes session, it became clear that the entity they were speaking to was pleased to be conversing with them. It never directly identified itself as Raymond, but it spoke his name and took on supposed personality traits. Like an older man, it criticized the hairstyle of Tyler even as it was speaking through him. It continually showed a knowledge and even small manifestations related to the legend.

So were they talking to the Green Man, or were they talking to an Elemental?

Both! One and the same!

The Egregore being a “mask” is inconsequential, this is the existence that the Egregore has. The Elemental is the “battery” or “force” which is driving, animating, and theming it, where it aligns in nature to the nature of the Egregore.

Far-Earth Spirits

I’m using this category as a catch-all for beings which also seem to have their own independent intelligences and personalities, which interact seemingly of their own accord with Humans, but are not creatures specifically manifest as a specific material location. They can be singularly Elemental in nature, or a mix of elements. Rather than Elemental, they could be Planetary. We could say they are of the Aevum or Astral or Etheric planes, but not as “high” as the Gods in Eternity.

These are the sorts of beings (I presume from accounts, not personal experience) one encounters when under the influence of DMT and similar intoxicants, when one has a particular type of alien encounter or abduction experience (some of which could instead be explained by Elementals or other Near-Earth Spirits), when one travels through Astral Projection to far off places, or when calling out specifically to channel them. They are more entities of the “unconscious” than of the “conscious”.

Like Near-Earth Spirits, these are just as varied in type and personality as humans and every animal on earth. Some seem to perform a symbolic experimentation on people, for healing or traumatic reasons. Some are a further encounter with Mystery that leads higher beyond themselves.

I would place Franz Bardon’s list of Genii into this category, as well as some of the entities within the Goetia. At times, some of these spirits have been known to history or been worshipped or venerated.

Being “further away” from Earth, while they can create physical effects it is much less common. These effects are often more celestial. Lights in the sky or far off in the distance that move in impossible directions. Shooting stars at a purposeful moment. A rainbow. They will take up an Egregore, just as any other spirit can, though some are extant enough within this world to already have their own. Some magical rituals seek to help them take manifest form via incense smoke or reflections in a dark mirror.

We’re beginning to move into the territory of inversion, where things that seem like symbols or concepts are actually alive, and things that seem alive are symbolic. Their presence is more so represented through synchronicity. So, rather than physical occurrences, they are manifest through conceptual occurrences and visionary experiences. Events in Time are the body they possess in this world. Their presence is felt through the meaning which we find in our own consciousness.

Angels and Demons

This is a loaded category of loaded terms, so we’re going to define what we’re talking about very carefully.

Angel (Biblical) – not the same thing as a “Biblically Accurate Angel” which you may have seen illustrations of. In this case, I am referring to “Angel” with the meaning of “Messenger”. When you see angels arriving in biblical texts to bring messages or interact with humans in a physical manner, these are either visionary experiences or they are incarnate humans (or sometimes birds) playing out a designated event.

Celestial Beings (Biblically Accurate Angels) – These are beings described in biblical texts, but not actually referred to as angels. Common culture has however given them that name. They may seem to be geometric configurations of shapes, human or animal in form, elemental manifestations, or any combination of these things. They also seem to have a mechanical purpose, such as being the wheels of a chariot. When many other traditions speak of Angels, this is also the sort of being they are referring to.

When I refer to “Angels” for this category, the “Celestial Beings” and similar entities are what I will be talking about.

So what are they?

If what I’ve called “Far-Earth Spirits” are Entities of Concepts, we can think of Angels as Entities of Functions. They are the processes of the universe. You can think of there being an angel for just about anything, wearing the Egregore (or including it as part of itself) of the cultural idea of that process as an identity.

We can interact with them, just as we can any other spirit. They are just as conscious and personified as the rest. We can talk to them and ask them to perform their functions for us. What their existence is like beyond their interactions with us as Humans we cannot truly say, but they manifest for us as the correct functioning of the universe. Mostly, they seem to not want to be bothered for anything other than the process they perform/are. They are present everywhere from here to Eternity.

We, liking to categorize things, give them elemental and zodiacal associations. We group them up and tear them apart at will.

In the Enochian system of magic, there are a few different types of angels. Some are the governors of each independent Aethyr, meaning they are the highest thing which represents the part of the process of moving upward toward the Divine that is contained within that specific Aethyr. Others are letters on the Enochian table which can be placed together in numerous ways to “create” or “find” an angel with the specific qualities one is looking for.

We can infinitely divide up or place together different combinations of them. When we’ve got enough angels packed in to one container, such that it holds the highest and most encompassing representation of a process, we call that an Archangel.

Yes, Archangels are comprised of other, “smaller”, angels.

On the Tree of Life, we assign an Archangel as ruling each of the sephirah. What we mean by that is that Archangel fully represents all the processes contained within that sephirah, and so contains every angel that is one of those processes.

And since that Tree of Life is a map to God, of God, and of our own consciousness or soul, we can see that the Star which we are is, at least partially, also comprised of these Archangels and angels. They are the processes of the Divine just as much as they are the ones of ourselves and of the world around us. (And in fact, all the spirits we’ve discussed are contained within us in the same way, just as much as they seem to be external beings.)

Demons are just as loaded of a category, perhaps more so than, angels. So, again, we will carefully define what we are discussing before proceeding.

Shadows (Magia) – Within Magia we speak of the concept of a “shadow”. Externally, this seems to be a conscious malevolent force which tricks us to playing out a detrimental series of events. They know exactly how to destroy what you care about. We have a practice within this tradition whereby we can move past this dilemma by examining the events until we find its source. At this point, we find its name, and through our seeing we regain any power we’ve given away to it and allow it to return to its proper place in the working of the cosmos.

We’re calling it a shadow, so what it is it a shadow of?

Much like we can awake in the middle of the night and within the darkness mistake a pile of clothes for a malevolent intruder in our room, so too can we become aware of something in the darkness of our unconsciousness and draw an unspoken conclusion as to how the world works. And, as we are the animating force moving things around, we experience the improper application of the thing we saw within the world.

In other words, these Shadows are the shadows of Angels. We’re mistaking a process that should work in one fashion for its inversion. We’re seeing the negative space cast into Time, proper in shape but lacking the internal qualities, of a function of the universe. And because we’ve included that inversion within our awareness of the world rather than the part which is casting the shadow, that is the way the function manifests for us.

And again, since Angels are parts of ourselves, WE are the ones casting the shadow.

These are wild and uncontrolled forces, and we don’t deal with them directly. Instead, we examine them to determine their nature and turn things upright, correcting the inversion. Interacting with one directly would be like inviting a wild bear into your home.

Demon – I place no specific categorization on if this is referring to a thing from any number of religious texts, mythologies, or further. Instead, I place a single qualification on it: This is a malevolent entity which seeks to exterminate the Light of the Divine from the world of Creation.

We could say that they are a shadow of a shadow. If a God were to cast a full shadow of itself, such that its inversion was present within the world, these would be its “angels”. A mischaracterization which has gone so far that consciousness is offensive and painful to it, despite it needing human awareness of it for its existence.

Both of the types of beings discussed in this subcategory are only extant here. Here is the only place we are asleep, the only place where we find these cases of mistaken identity. They cannot exist in Eternity, for Eternity is full of light, and light immediately destroys a shadow.

Further Discussion

Wait!

What about Gods? What about the Dead? What are the creatures of the Underworld?

These will be topics for the next in this series of articles.
